Plumsail Documents hosts all data in Microsoft Azure. We have servers in various regions and are continuously adding new ones, allowing you to choose a data center location that best suits your needs.
Select data center
You can select the data center region when registering a Plumsail account. This is where your data will be stored and processed according to the Data Processing Agreement. During account registration, Plumsail automatically detects your region. However, you can choose a different region, as shown in the screenshot below.
If you want to change the data center location and have already created a Plumsail account, we recommend recreating it and selecting the correct location. If this doesn’t work for you, please contact us at support@plumsail.com, and we will try to assist you.
Frequently asked questions
Where is my data stored when using Plumsail Documents?
All that data is stored in Microsoft Azure. Plumsail Documents collects minimal customer information—only the subscription email is required for license validation. After installing Plumsail Documents, the only data we collect is application logs from the system.
Where are Plumsail Documents servers located?
Plumsail Documents hosts all data in Microsoft Azure, with regions in the European Union and Australia, and a USA region coming soon, depending on your choice. You select your preferred server location when registering a Plumsail account.
Is Plumsail Documents GDPR compliant?
Yes, Plumsail Documents is GDPR compliant.
Check the Data Processing Agreement to understand how we handle the data you provide. This agreement is included as part of the Master Service Agreement.
