SharePoint Modern UI — Copy New Form (place page anywhere on the site)

Customer Support Engineer

Plumsail Forms allows you to customize forms for Lists and Libraries on your SharePoint sites, keeping the Modern UI and experience. Normally, our Forms only appear when you go to List View, click add new Item, or open existing item for viewing or editing.

But since the forms are stored as SharePoint pages, you can also retrieve New Forms and place them anywhere else on the site, and use them from there.

The process is very simple. Once you save a Form for a specific list, you will be able to find this form in Site Pages -> Plumsail Forms, in a specific List subfolder, you can find all the forms for this specific list.

From here, you can copy New Form to any place on your site, and keep it there, even rename the form.

2

Now, if you want users to create new items in the list, the users don’t even need to go to it, they can just open the page, perhaps even share the URL of the form or place in on the Home Page — it’s all possible.

That’s all for this short article, find more information in our documentation.
