Quick tip: How to add new email notification for SharePoint help desk ticket

In this short article, I’d like to show you how to customize e-mail notifications for Plumsail HelpDesk in Office 365 and SharePoint 2013. 

I will create a new trigger that runs when a help desk ticket is updated in some specific way. We have predefined triggers for the most common actions, but if you want something specific that is not there, there’s a way to achieve it. Quick tip: How to update help desk message template

In this quick tip, I will take a look at how to modify message templates in Plumsail HelpDesk for Sharepoint 2013 with adding information from custom columns to message body. Let’s say you’ve added a custom ‘Order Number’ column to a ticket and now you want to have access to this additional column in notification messages.
