Setting default Members group

I use Action Pack to generate sites with dedicated permission groups.
But how can I control which access group is set as the default Members group on the site?
For some reason it constantly uses a group from the site collection level, but I would like to set a newly created (through action pack) group unique for each site.

Any tips / best practice to achieve this is appreciated.

Hello Geir,

Unfortunately currently it is not possible.
If it is required for your project you can make request to sales@plumsail.com to request this feature. I think our developers can make a separate workflow action for this.

Hello Geir,

We have added a new workflow action Set Up Default Group for the Site, now you can change default site groups via workflow.
