Changing format of numbers to currency?

by apapanic » Fri Jan 16, 2015 6:53 pm

Hi,
I have a dashboard chart but want to display the numbers in 'currency' US dollars vs just numbers being displayed.
How can I do that so numbers like '39000.34' can show as '$39,000.34' ?
Thanks!

Hi,
Sorry for the delay. Sure, assign the following value to the Format field of the appropriate section (Tooltips, Labels, Axes etc) on the Dashboard -> Style tab: {0:c}. You can find more samples on our demo website:

I used the format {0:c} and it's working but displaying currency in USD with the symbol $, for my report this is misleading information as the values are in Qatari Riyals. So how do I fix this?

Easiest thing would be to format the thing as a number and add the symbol for Qatari Riyals alongside it, for example, for British Pound it'd look like this:

Code: Select all
£{0:n2}
